Our Team

Yulissa Lu

Hi! My name is Yulissa, a senior at Interlake High School, and I am eager to utilize WAAFE as a platform to share my love for art. I believe art is a universal language that has the ability to bridge the gaps between different cultures and backgrounds. Through WAAFE, I hope to create a space that encourages artistic expression and positive social change. Prior to this project, I have led and engaged in numerous educational clubs. When I am not working or studying, you can find me in an art studio painting or hiking with friends.

Reese Wang

Hi everyone my name is Reese Wang and I am a current senior at Annie Wright Schools. I have been doing art ever since I was a little kid and always knew that it holds a lot of power to get people to see different perspectives. I hope to be able to inspire more people and empower underrepresented artists through the “Art for Empowerment” project. Other than art, I also like to play the piano and hangout with my dog.

Cici Yang

Hello, I am Cici Yang, a Junior at Peddie School. From a young age, I have been experiencing different mediums of art and ways to express myself through them. Through WAAFE, I hope to help bring the voices of marginalized groups out to the public through visual art. I spend the majority of my free time drawing or working on robots.
